Let me tell ya, not all of them are seems to be as what common perception towards them. Some of them possessing high literacy within their knowledge field, someone who are inspirational figure to friend around and extreme concern for their surrounding and the world. In a nutshell, they might be a pro, activist and critical thinker. I advice to all people not to simply judge them.
I have something to share for why i myself personally keep using the cartoon picture instead of my self or more "proper" such as cat, flower, space or anything else. It's all about emitted aura and presence. The only thing i want is to let people know that i am open, casual, do no interjection on one's enjoyable activity and not trying to to distincit myself from anyone around. I just want people feel relaxed connected and avoid unpleasant sense within our participation. People won't always take me seriously in all of time.
Imagine if i dress up some religious clothes and try to approach them. Of course people will just like "Oh shit! This person is looks like no carefree at all that we could have an easygoing interaction". You know, i kinda hate this feeling of being excluded by people around over a misunderstanding on the real me. If people feel ok, how about other in the surrounding? They won't feel the same. "What? The lebai is playing bowling with some punk? The hell is that?". Nah! I really dislike this kind of scattered murmur.
Except when i'm going some place or event which need to dress as that one such as mosque, majlis qasidah, daurah and some others resembling those, then it'll be okay as long as i don't walk through the public which no relation to that kind of condition such as public transport, mall or something.
You know what? It's a pain in the ass and too tiring when people constantly taking me seriously. Every day long, i've to ensure my image and reputation to fit with what they want me to be. It continuously keep me contemplate what will go wrong and what went wrong for something trivial. I have to fake it and restraining my own freedom to do my own business. Not that i'm justifying that i wanna do some terrible deeds just like some retard celebs who feel confined. I just saying that i have no easygoing and carefree space and moment for conversation, interaction and socialization when the seriousness is have to be obliged for all of the time. That's why i publicize my appearance as "the amusing one", so there will be no caste and commotion between us.
And then, there are another reason for it. If i were a taint for a religious group, typically, -and i ask God to keep me away from that-, then at least people just recognize that i am just an ordinary person who don't represent the group at whole. Yeah, me and them probably much more alike in having a high sentimental, level of erudition and path we're going to - i hope so if it's a virtue one-, but i took an individual contrasting approach, wishing for no one will blame the unrelated one whenever i messed up. I still don't mind or could be fond of to sit together, discussing some serious subject and listening to the lecture, but in terms of approach the public, i sense that i need to differ.
I think i'm just a merchant which sharing same value with the main troops, but i'm striving with my own way. And some of times, we have to pitch in together. If i did go wrong, then the troops won't be in the same boat.
And one thing for the last word. Sometimes i do hate being disparaged, especially when it comes to something i am an ace for it. It's okay if people did know nothing about me, but when people mocking me and regarding the one who appear in cartoon picture profile as a dumbass moron, it's better for them to be prepared for harsh counter-attack. If you hurt me or my weebs' friend, then the same thing would befall them.
