Neglect To Learn Religion Deeply Because You Don't Want To Be Be Called Ustaz Or Ustazah? Here Is My Advices

I do understand that several people avoid themselves to study religion deeply because they don't want to be called ustaz or ustazah or anything that display them as pious person. Nevertheless, i have some advice which i would like to share :

(a) If somebody talk or take part in discussion or share a lot of some topic, matter or issue, we can't arbitarily assume he or she is a professional in that field. If someone discuss a lot about religious issue, not so fast to call that person ustaz or ustazah. If someone talk so much about health, microorganism or medical related, can we entitle that person a doctor? If someone love to share about recipes or cooking tips or actively comment of food art, is that enough to regard him as a chef? If someone able to draw beautifully, is this enough to make him artist? Not that simple.

Title sometimes can be an ache weighty responsibilty and commitment. When we're entitled for something, we are conscious that we have a great responsibility to keep our reputation from being smeared and there's a pile of commitment to fulfill the duty. So, please don't misuse or take for granted. Give it to the right people. If you're amaze of someone's outstanding capability, doesn't mean he or she is right to be entitled in the suit matter.

I had been heard the terrific title entitled to some preachers such as "Escathology Expert in Nusantara" or "Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalaniy of Malaysia", then the entitled person didn't reflect so much or at all the given title, then the person is being hated and getting bad reputation for that terrific entitlement. It's not their mistake, but the followers or fans, mostly the fanatic and dimwit, that hastily give out the title for that person. This is why i should remind you on this.

(b) Can't you stay silent to not to talk about something you neglect to learn? You know yourselves very well that you are take some subject lightly or don't giving much care and priority to certain field. Then, can you keep our mouth shut to speak and voice an opinion towards something you deliberately being ignorant of it? Sometimes i see some people aware of their ignorance, but they still insist and trying hard to show everyone that he's a champion or warrior on the discussion or comment. Sometimes their word much more spicier, their voice vehemently louder and their expression looks more brilliant than the specialist one, but one who have high literacy could trace their nonsense and foolishness.

If you don't learn the mazhab asy-Syafi'e, refrain yourself to talk anything regarding it. If you don't learn usul fiqh, don't even dare to give an opinion or conclude something related to interpretation. If you aren't able to understand Arabic language, stay away from meddling in speak about etymology, grammar and word's monolingual definition. Even if you feel you're in the right side, you still need to calm down your vigorous zest. Do not object or defend something you know nothing about it. And forth. This also apply to other subjet or field besides the religion.

(c) If you're shy or despise for being called as ustaz or ustazah, doesn't mean you have to evade the comprehensive learning. Try set your goal that you learn the religion because you want to save yourselves from stupidity, for the least.

You're getting tired listening all crap and bullshit from the bigot wannabe? Then, delve the truth. You're scared that you might be in a wrong direction of your faith and practices of religion? Then, figure it out. You have something that intriguing your mind which you are eager to know about it? Then, start to resolve it.

Fuck the title of ustaz or ustazah. You learn out of your own passionate curiosity, your own fiery earnestness to flee from the idiocy and your own adventerous quest for the truth. You learn because you extremely apprehend the importance and you avidly want to defend the truth. Fuck the title of ustaz or ustazah.

Fuck the title of ustaz or ustazah. Fuck the title of ustaz or ustazah. Fuck the title of ustaz or ustazah. Fuck the title of ustaz or ustazah. You learn because you want to be the best servant of Allah, not the people's recognition. Fuck the title of ustaz or ustazah.
