My Favorite Game

Sometimes Arabic language could be a fun game to play. You have to take a challenge how to put a syakl / harakat in the word precisely as the al-Mu'jam / al-Qamus (dictionary) and make it suit with the declension’s (i'rab) condition. After analyzing the matchness of the diacritics and grammar, then you are in the stage two. It is figuring out what’s the message of the text and break the code of ambiguity shadowing the true meaning of the content.

Yeah! It may sounds like playing Sudoku that you have to solve the problem by placing the number in the right box. With all analyzing might, you could corespond the the number right in every side of the box. Just like that in Arabic. You have to scrutinize everything with the help of the armed of your diacritis and declension’s knowledge rule to crack the padlock, so that you will get the true message after identifying the stack pattern of the clause, stylization and placement of the words.

Sometimes when i’m attending to the class, it feels like i’m attending to the cyber cafe, playing the game together with classmate with teacher’s supervision. Equipped with the dictionary, book of tasrif (morphology) and grammar kit, we play it enthusiastically in a frenzy excitement to compete each other who will be a prominent hacker of the bomb mining of the problematic stuff and be the right side when each other is arguing. Not to deny that we are competing each other to strive for “godfather” / “master” / “pro player” level in this game among the other players.

Before i learned Arabic, i couldn’t imagine how thrill this game could go this far. And i ’ve never imagine that Arabic could be this kind of game. Yeah, because the first thing of my perception towards this language is learning another language just like others and when you are walk to the depth, within this country context, you are in a step to become a “fanatic religious devotee”. But no, my perception is altered after diving more and more. And now it’s just as what you see right now.

We were cherished up, either the veterans or the youngsters, both could enjoy this game. This game will never feels old and always will be an entertaining game. This Arabic game doesn’t have to be a simply a religious reading material, it could be anything more than that just like the other language that have a various fields of reading material. Whatever part of the field you want to get into, it still gonna be a nice game to enjoy. This is something i could guarantee. I know people is focusing on understanding, but it won’t part away from experiencing this fun game momment.

Feeling high now? Learn this language! Don’t feel secluded when you learn this language. It is one of the six official language in UN. So it’s not a simply for Arab only or just who keen to plunge into a devout saint. The more important thing is it could be a somewhat amused game!

It’s hard to express the excitement just by words. Experienced it by yourself!

P/S : This picture is one of the text in the book titled “Masnawi”, wrote by Jalauddin ar-Rumi. I have a terribled difficulty to tackle the assertion. I could say this is the “Super Hard” difficulty mode and i’m dealing with the “boss of the monster” in the game.
